Amara Organics – Best Product for Pets
About the Product
One of the top rated Aloe Vera gels on the market today, is easily the Amara Organics gel.
The 100% natural product features no added fragrance, color, nor alcohol. That means that it’s gentle on your body, and is excellent for those with dry skin. Keep in mind that it is practically 100% organic, but there is a very small amount of natural preservatives that are necessary to keep the product safe and stable.
It can be used on a wide variety of issues, such as acne, dandruff, and even bald spots!
Generally speaking, however, it’s wonderful for moisturizing the hair, skin, and cuticles. Not only that, but it can be used as a leave-in conditioner, hair gel, and even for shaving.
Our Experience
The clear Aloe Vera gel has a thinner consistency; probably thinner than what you’re used to in a gel, anyway. Since it’s thinner, that means that it’s more easily absorbed by the skin, which results in a more efficient product and better results.
In addition, we found it wasn’t tacky or sticky in any way. With other Aloe gels, you may experience stickiness, but luckily this one is soft and allows you to use it before bed or putting on your clothes for the day.
What is it great for?
We loved using it as a hair conditioner, moisturizing the skin, and treating acne. However, there are many who have used it as a hair growth treatment; not only for themselves but for their pets! As it’s all-natural, you don’t have to worry about your pets having a severe reaction to the product. However, it’s always a good idea to do a little spot test before.
The smell is mild, however, there are no added fragrances.
Was there anything we didn’t like?
Actually, yes.
There were some consumers who’d reported it causing itching and some irritation with their very sensitive skin. So, as stated above, it’s best to do a little spot test on the inside of your arm before full-on application!
Other than that, this is one of the best Aloe Vera gels out there!
What We Liked
- 100% natural, 99.75 % organic is pretty much the purest you can find
- No artificial fragrances; natural scent only
- Great for use in hair regrowth, acne treatments, aftershave, and much more
- Hydrates and soothes the skin quickly
What We Didn’t Like
- Can irritate very sensitive skin sometimes
Earth’s Daughter – Best Product for Glowing Skin
About the Product
Aloe Vera is a huge component in many of the best beauty products out there.
Why?
Adding it to things like lotions and creams works to not only hydrate the skin better, but also soothes the skin with ease. However, you can get possibly even better results by using Earth’s Daughter Organic Aloe Vera Gel.
This organic Aloe Vera Gel is relatively inexpensive for the high-quality product and the amount you receive.
It’s 100% all-natural, and 99.75% organic; similar to the previous product. Again the .25 comes from necessary preservatives. The great thing is they haven’t included any artificial dyes, fragrances, parabens, alcohol, or other potentially irritating ingredients.
Have flaky skin or dandruff?
Put this one into your checkout cart already. It’s great for fighting dandruff, or even any other kind of skin flakiness. In fact, you will start to see results immediately after application! It works to soothe and hydrate the skin; even if it isn’t irritated or dry.
Some other interesting uses?
Hair gel or for getting rid of stretch marks.
Why hair gel? Won’t that make the hair have build-up?
Perhaps with other hair gels, but with this Aloe Vera gel, you won’t have that stickiness or film left on the hair afterward. It won’t make the hair ultra-stiff, but it will definitely help tame flyaways and things of that nature.
As far as stretch marks go, they can reduce the redness and prominence of them in just a few uses. By using this gel, you can also help prevent new ones from forming.
Our Experience
We already know that Aloe Vera has a variety of amazing benefits that can come from applying it to the body. We weren’t expecting it to make our skin glow, however. We’d applied it to our bodies and faces, and it instantly gave a luminous, fresh, youthful glow!
All of that, without having to use a highlighter!
It is unique, in that this product comes as a spray, not a gel-like liquid that you pour into your hands. This makes application quicker, and makes it absorb faster and easier. However, it’s not ideal for consumption.
In essence, this is probably the most mild Aloe Vera gel on our list.
That makes it wonderful for those with sensitive skin, but if you need a ton of hydration, then you may want to seek out another product on here.
It can sooth dry, cracked, sunburned, or otherwise irritated skin, well. However, many just prefer the feeling of the actual gels that you can hold in your hand.
What We Liked
- Very light and gentle; safe for sensitive skin
- Absorbs very quickly into the skin
- 100% all-natural, 99.75% organic product
- Great for making skin glow
What We Didn’t Like
- Some may prefer the actual gels that can be applied manually
Forever Living – Best Product for Consumption
About the Product
One of our favorite Aloe Vera gel brands out there, is Forever Living out of Scottsdale, Arizona. The company produces each one of their products with a healthy digestive system and healthy body in mind. Their Aloe Vera gel is of course, no exception.
The probiotic-like product is packed full of rich, useful ingredients, such as Ascorbic Acid. The acid is an antioxidant which minimizes cell damage, or chemical oxidation of molecules. Simply put, it rids the body of toxins which can lower the efficiency of our digestive system.
What’s so unique about the Forever Living Aloe Vera Gel?
It’s perfect for human consumption as a drink.
This may seem a little odd at first, but we promise it’s okay.
The juice has the same benefits as their gel, but in a citrus, lemon-lime flavor that’s so delicious, you have to control yourself to only drink one serving.
What should you drink it for?
It’s great if you have issues with your digestive tract, want to get a great night’s sleep (who doesn’t?), or for boosted performance in the gym. It promotes healing, as it contains large amounts of vitamins B, C, and E, and it’s an anti-inflammatory.
Our Experience
The Forever Aloe Vera juice comes with a bunch of benefits, but it’s definitely not perfect.
If you want to use it for anything more than consumption, it’s a bit difficult.
We will say that the product tastes good; much better than it used to. It used to not have the lemon-lime flavor and was pretty bitter and hard to make yourself drink it.
We saw an improvement in our digestive issues; namely IBS. So, if you suffer from IBS and are sick of not having any relief, this may do the trick for you. Not only that, but it also boosted our energy, which we hadn’t really expected, but were happy by the delightful surprise. Overall, it really made us feel better, overall.
However, there were some cons we’d like to share with you.
It does contain Sorbitol, which is a preservative for storing sugar. Speaking of sugar, it contains 20 milligrams of the stuff, which can be difficult for those trying to lean up or those who have diabetes.
All in all, if you’re looking for gel that’s safe for consumption, check out the Forever Aloe Vera Gel drink.
What We Liked
- Great for consumption with improved taste
- Helps the digestive tract and provides energy
- Get a very large portion
What We Didn’t Like
- Contains Sorbitol and sugar
Seven Minerals – Best Product for Hair
About the Product
This cold-pressed USA-grown Aloe Vera is certified organic, and is literally the best quality you can buy. Due to the fact that it is so pure, you’re going to see better, more rapid results with the Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel.
In fact, it’s one of the strongest on the market.
This is good, in that it’s great for rapid relief, soothing, and more. However, the downside comes if you have sensitive skin; it may be too aggressive, so we recommend doing a spot test before applying to your face or all over your body!
Many gels are sticky, and this is often not due to the Aloe itself, but due to the Xanthan or Carbomer they’ve added in as an artificial thickener. Seven Minerals instead, uses a 100% natural thickener: Seaweed Extract!
It even includes an e-book to tell you how to tame frizzy hair, how to reduce dandruff, and much more.
Our Experience
We weren’t too skeptical before using this organic Aloe Vera gel, as we’d already seen a ton of great reviews across the board, and saw our natural the product was. However, we were a bit concerned with how it would react with our skin, as it did say it was very strong.
We didn’t have any issues, and instead, were very impressed by how soft and smooth our skin felt immediately after applying.
We didn’t use it on any sunburns as we didn’t have any, but we’re sure it works great for relieving irritated skin. However, we did use it on acne and actually saw a difference, which was cool! You’ll definitely notice an improvement in the glow and hydration of your skin!
Try using it to decrease cellulite, for getting rid of dandruff, and to calm razor burn! We used it for all of the above, and absolutely loved the results we received. In fact, we noticed amazing improvements in how our hair looked and felt.
Can you consume it?
Technically, yes, but keep in mind that you should only do a bit at a time if you’ve never consumed it before. Many people will have no problem, and will actually feel their digestive tract calmer than before, but some will experience unpleasant side effects.
One more thing to remember: shake well before each use!
What We Liked
- Helps get rid of scarring, acne, dandruff, and much more
- Contains natural thickener rather than Xanthan
- Absorbs very quickly into the skin
- No stickiness or tacky residue left over
What We Didn’t Like
- It may be too strong for some with sensitive skin
Majestic Pure Natural – Editor’s Favorite
About the Product
Looking for a 100% pure Aloe Vera gel?
Take a look at Majestic Pure.
Majestic Pure is a California-based company whose goal is to produce pure, natural botanical products and high-tech cosmeceuticals. They have a holistic approach, using natural resources which the Earth gives to us.
There are countless companies that claim this, but only a few are actually truthful (and they’re listed on this guide). This 100% cruelty-free product aims to give us a product that we’ll fully benefit from.
What’s it made with?
It has cold-pressed, certified organic Aloe Vera. What it doesn’t have are all of the chemicals, artificial fragrances, colors, and alcohols that so many of the typical gels have. In place of all of the fake stuff, you’ll receive a product packed full of vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, C, and E! Not only that, but it’s heavy in choline and folic acid, keeping your hair and skin looking and feeling their best.
What can you use it for?
You can use it for irritated skin, sunburns, itchiness, Eczema, dandruff, insect bites, and much more.
Our Experience
We honestly loved this gel, which is why it made the editor’s favorite! First of all, it comes with a convenient pump, so that you don’t have to put your hands in the product, and so you don’t accidentally waste any.
It’s convenient and sanitary!
How is the consistency?
It’s a bit more watery/thin than you’re probably used to. Don’t worry, though, this makes it easier for absorption into the skin. There is also no fragrance, which is nice.
We really enjoyed the fact that our skin wasn’t sticky or smelled weird after using this gel, like so many others left us with. You can really tell that this product is of the highest quality.
It improved dandruff, dry skin, and acne in just a couple applications, which was kind of crazy. You can, of course, use it for much more than that. We just don’t want to list all of them out here for you.
So, were there any downsides?
Yes. It is a bit expensive in comparison to similar items. However, you do receive a good amount of product, so it’s nice to keep that in mind!
What We Liked
- Very natural, cold-pressed process
- Works to sooth skin, hydrate, and nourish skin and hair
- No artificial fragrances/colors
What We Didn’t Like
- A bit on the expensive side
ArtNaturals – Best Organic Product
About the Product
ArtNaturals has easily become one of our favorite companies, for many reasons. One, because they actually care about what goes into their products, and they care about their consumers. They always produce products that are packed full of vitamins and minerals, and leave out all the bad stuff.
So, when we saw that they’d come out with an Aloe Vera Gel, we knew we had to try it.
Pretty much needless to say, we were happy with it.
The gel is of artisan quality, and completely organic. It’s chock-full of antioxidants and other nutrients to help nourish and transform your skin and hair. It soothes sunburns, rashes, bites, stings, and more in just moments after application.
For beauty, it can reduce/prevent fine lines and wrinkles, treat acne, clear up redness, and even reduce/prevent stretch marks and cellulite! As far as hair goes, it can improve hair growth, reduce or even eliminate dandruff, hydrate, and maintain the pH of the scalp.
Our Experience
Our experience was very similar to the last item on our list. It works quickly and efficiently; immediately absorbing into the skin and soothing any irritation or dryness.
It doesn’t have a scent, but what we did enjoy was the pump top. This was great for sanitary reasons, as we didn’t have to reach our fingers in, and it dispensed just the right amount of product so we didn’t waste any.
We loved how soft it made our skin and cuticles. Just after one application, we noticed a big difference in how soft and supple they were!
One thing to keep in mind is that this product is not for consumption, so please don’t drink it or anything like that. For exterior use, only!
What We Liked
- Very natural, without any artificial fragrances or dyes
- Works for quickly to soften and smooth hair and skin
- Handy pump is sanitary and efficient
What We Didn’t Like
- Not for human consumption
Aubrey Organics – Best Product for Acne
About the Product
If you’re looking for a more natural, soothing way to cure your acne, then look no further than the Aubrey Organics Aloe Vera Gel.
The gel calms skin quickly, as it absorbs quickly. It is 98% organic and made without any artificial thickeners, colors, or fragrances. In fact, the Aloe they use is certified by the International Aloe Science Council, so you can rest assured you’re getting a high-quality product.
It’s perfect for oily/sensitive skin, and is vegan, gluten-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free, and cruelty-free.
Use it on your body or face; both respond great!
Our Experience
Not only does it include organic Aloe Leaf juice, but it also has grapefruit seed extract and Vitamin E to nourish your skin while addressing any acne or blemishes you may have. We did notice the texture is more liquid, but this is easier to spread and makes it absorb more quickly!
To use, simply spread a thin layer over your face after washing. You may even notice results overnight, like we did!
It works well for just about any age; from teenagers to elderly people.
So, was there anything we didn’t like?
Yes!
There was only one thing, and that is that some users found this gel to be a bit too astringent, and dried out their skin. It’s important to do a patch test before ever putting on your face.
What We Liked
- Excellent for treating acne and hydrates entire body
- Works well for any age
- Watery consistency absorbs/works quicker
What We Didn’t Like
- Can be a bit too astringent/drying for some
How To Pick The Right Aloe Vera Gel For You
Now that you’ve taken a look at each of the best Aloe Vera gels, you may have already decided on which product is best for you. However, if you haven’t, don’t leave just yet! We have taken it upon ourselves to create this handy buying guide!
Purpose
What are you using your new gel for? Perhaps you want a more natural solution to hair loss/thinning, or you want to get rid of dandruff and hydrate your scalp. That’s going to be a different product than if you just want something to soothe your digestive tract.
Make sure to read the description, as some are solely made for human consumption, and some definitely are not.
Price
As you’ve probably already noticed, these gels vary widely in pricing! That’s because there are different sizes, some last longer than others, and some are more natural than others. Generally speaking, the more expensive ones are going to be more organic/all-natural, however, it’s definitely not a rule.
Also, keep in mind that some products will be the same size, but one will last longer than the other. So, don’t just look at the price tag; take it all into consideration.
Thickness
How thick do you want your Aloe to be? Are you going to be consuming it or putting it on your skin? If you want a product to absorb more quickly, the thinner is typically the better. It may be a bit more difficult to maneuver, as it can be a bit slippery, but thinner gels have many benefits.
Summary
Now, you probably know just about everything you need to about the best Aloe Vera gels on the market, today. However, if you’re still on-the-fence about which product to by, let us suggest the Majestic Pure Natural.
It’s ultra-natural and doesn’t include any parabens, fragrances, dyes, or alcohols like so many others out there do. It’s great for hydrating and soothing the skin and hair, as well, so if you have dandruff, acne, dryness, Eczema, or any irritations, please consider trying it out.
